where to begin...

Since my parents came 2 weeks ago we have accomplished so much that I don't even know where to begin. :)  My parents have tackled everything from sewing up (patching) pants, cleaning and organizing inside the house, making a planter, planting plants, making cement blocks for our stepping stones, fixing up our broken trampoline from the wind storm, started on building our deck and much more in between. I get tired just listing all the things they've accomplished in such a short time. :)  And Ehren and I are more like helpers while mom and dad do most of the work you see on pictures. :)   I wanted to at least put some pictures on here to see the progress so it's not too many pictures at once.  It has been really nice to have them here for many reasons but it is also nice so I can sneak out for different things during nap times and run errands, go to jury duty, or pick Kade up from soccer camp while mom watches my daycare kids for me.  Just that alone is huge for me and without her I'd have to either take days off or just not be able to go anywhere until after dinner.  Now we have just a few more days before our trip to Canda which we're all excited about.

The kids started soccer too and that's going well.  Kade is doing really good and still loves it which only makes me sad because soccer is not supported much up here.  But I'm glad he at least gets to do it for now and is getting a lot out of it.  He just finished a week long soccer camp with a British coach who played semi-pro soccer in Britain and that was a lot of fun for him.  He was finally able to get some real soccer coaching and learn a few tricks too.  And Kason and Ani are on the same team which I thought would be great for Kason but it doesn't seem to matter to him. :) We wanted to see how he'd do with soccer and unlike his big brother he absolutely hates it.  It is just crazy to go from a kid who loves soccer and tries his hardest from a young age to a kid that runs the other way, away from the soccer ball or just hangs on the goal pretending to be the goalie (they don't have goalies at that age) even though the rest of the team is all trying to get the ball. :)  I guess we know now that Kason won't be playing soccer after this year, unless he decides he likes it all of a sudden.  Anika is doing so much better than last year and really tries which I just love because it's not easy for her at all.  Running is hard for her with her skinny legs and she struggles with coordination too but she is so determined and never gives up.  So I really hope she keeps doing it because it's such a good exercise.  I can't think of a better sport for young kids, especially Kade's age. :)
